Lori, a passionate advocate, author and speaker presented a riveting story of the Canadian Home Children

These were British children, many of whom were orphaned in the early 1900s in various parts of Britain, who were sent to Canada at very young ages. The children were taken away from their homeland, their families and all things they had known and loved – some were as young as 7 and 8 years old. Lori shared her knowledge of what these child migrants faced, the hardships of indentured service, and the resilience that led to their success.
