Scott Stewart – President Blowes & Stewart Travel Group & Stewart Aviation

We are so fortunate to have Scott speaking to us this month as we don a new year at Probus Peterborough.

Peterborough has so much to offer and Scott has applied his entrepreneurial spirt and innovative efforts to one of our best kept secrets – the Peterborough Airport.  For a long time, we’ve anticipated and needed an expansion of accessibility for travelers to destinations primarily only offered by first tackling the arduous trip to Pearson Airport - to then head for desired destinations.  

In 2014 Scott spearheaded a groundbreaking initiative - chartering the first-ever 737 passenger jet from the Peterborough Airport.  That resounding success led to the launch of BST’s Peterborough Departures Program and ultimately Scott’s expansion into aviation through Stewart Aviation.

His wisdom and drive to utilize and celebrate our airport have grown and expanded ten-fold since 2014.

The development of our airport and what the future has to offer Peterborough and surrounding areas is unlimited.  Through Scott’s experience we will learn about the challenges and plans which have spurred him to provide a unique and thrilling opportunity for all travel.
